Presented by Jose Gener in 1865, the name of Hoyo De Monterrey Cigars generally signifies “valley of Monterrey,” an especially rich territory in the Vuelta Abajo, which had been cultivated by Gener since 1860. Hoyo De Monterrey Cigars offer a lighter flavor and a wide line of sizes, the biggest of which are greatly appreciated. Le Hoyo line cigars were launched around 1970 and brought a more grounded flavor into the tobacco market.
